21 Days of Prayer & Fasting

January 6 – 26, 2019

The Church will be open from 7:00-8:00 PM every night during the 21 days.

If you are praying from a different location at this time, join us in agreement as we pray and stand on God’s Word using the Prayer Guide below.

In 2019, We are Praying for More of Jesus

in Our Hearts, Homes, and Work.

These *scripture prayers are designed to facilitate intercession before God and beside Him, as we seek His Presence for every physical home in which we live: Jesus in our hearts, Jesus in our work, and Jesus in our families.

BEGINNING WITH GLORY

Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless Your holy name. I adore You and make known to You my adoration and love this day. I bless Your name, Elohim, the Creator of heaven and earth, Who was in the beginning. It is You Who made me, and You have crowned me with glory and honor. You are the God of might and strength. Hallowed be Thy name! I bless Your name, El-Shaddai, the God Almighty of blessings. You are the Breasty One Who nourishes and supplies. You are all-bountiful and all-sufficient. Hallowed be Thy name! I bless Your name, Adonai, my Lord and my Master. You are Jehovah, the Completely Self-Existing One, always present, revealed in Jesus, Who is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Hallowed be Thy name! I bless Your name, Jehovah-Jireh, the One Who sees my needs and provides for them. I bless Your name, Jehovah-Rapha, my Healer and the One Who makes bitter experiences sweet. You sent Your Word and healed me. You forgave all my iniquities and You healed all my diseases. I bless Your name, Jehovah-M’Kaddesh, the Lord my Sanctifier. You have set me apart for Yourself. Hallowed be Thy name! Jehovah-Nissi, You are my Victory, my Banner, and my Standard. Your banner over me is love. When the enemy comes in like a flood, You lift up a standard against him. Hallowed be Thy name! Jehovah Shalom, I bless Your name. You are my Peace, the peace which transcends all understanding, which garrisons and mounts guard over my heart and mind in Christ Jesus. I bless You, Jehovah Tsidkenu, my Righteousness. Thank You for becoming sin for me that I might become the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. Jehovah Rohi, You are my Shepherd, and I shall not want for any good or beneficial thing. Hallelujah to Jehovah-Shammah, the One Who will never leave or forsake me. You are always there. I take comfort and am encouraged and confidently and boldly say, The Lord is my Helper; I will not be seized with alarm — I will not fear or dread or be terrified. What can man do to me? I worship and adore You, El-Elyon, the Highest God, Who is the First Cause of everything, the Possessor of the heavens and earth. You are the everlasting God, the great God, the living God, the merciful God, the faithful God, the mighty God. You are Truth, Justice, Righteousness, and Perfection. You are El-Elyon — the Highest Sovereign of the heavens and the earth. You have exalted above all else Your name and Your Word, and You have magnified Your Word above all Your name! The Word was made flesh and dwelt among us, and His name is Jesus! Hallowed be Thy name! Be exalted in our prayers this week Lord. Make ways in the wilderness and streams in the desert in our families, our homes, and our closest relationships. Cause dry bones to rise to life in You. In Jesus’ name I pray, amen.

Then [the Angel] continued, “Do not be afraid, Daniel. Since the first day that you set your mind to gain understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I have come in response to them. “Do not be afraid, you who are highly esteemed,” he said. “Peace! Be strong now; be strong.” When he spoke to me, I was strengthened and said, “Speak, my lord, since you have given me strength.” Daniel 10:12; 19

Jesus at Home in My Heart

“I commit my heart to You, Jesus Christ, Word of God.” In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. ~ John 1:1

Walking in the Word Father, in the name of Jesus, I commit myself to walk in the Word. Your Word living in me produces Your life in this world. I recognize that Your Word is integrity itself — steadfast, sure, eternal — and I trust my life to its provisions.
You have sent Your Word forth into my heart. I let it dwell in me richly in all wisdom. I meditate in it day and night so that I may diligently act on it. The Incorruptible Seed, the Living Word, the Word of Truth, is abiding in my spirit. That Seed is growing mightily in me now, producing Your nature, Your life. It is my counsel, my shield, my buckler, my powerful weapon in battle. The Word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. It makes my way plain before me. I do not stumble, for my steps are ordered in the Word.
The Holy Spirit leads and guides me into all the truth. He gives me understanding, discernment, and comprehension so that I am preserved from the snares of the evil one.
I delight myself in You and Your Word. Because of that, You put Your desires within my heart. I commit my way unto You, and You bring it to pass. I am confident that You are at work in me now both to will and to do all Your good pleasure.
I exalt Your Word, hold it in high esteem, and give it first place. I make my schedule around Your Word. I make the Word the final authority to settle all questions that confront me. I choose to agree with the Word of God, and I choose to disagree with any thoughts, conditions, or circumstances contrary to Your Word. I boldly and confidently say that my heart is fixed and established on the solid foundation — the living Word of God! Amen.

Walking in Love
Father, in Jesus’ name, I thank You that Your love has been poured forth into my heart by the Holy Spirit Who has been given to me. I keep and treasure Your Word. The love of and for You, Father, has been perfected and completed in me; and perfect love casts out all fear.
Father, I am Your child, and I commit to walk in the God-kind of love. I endure long; I am patient and kind. I am never envious and never boil over with jealousy. I am not boastful or vainglorious, and I do not display myself haughtily. I am not rude and unmannerly, and I do not act unbecomingly. I do not insist on my own rights or my own way, for I am not self-seeking, touchy, fretful, or resentful. I take no account of an evil done to me, [and I pay no attention to a suffered wrong]. I do not rejoice at injustice and unrighteousness, but I rejoice when right and truth prevail. I bear up under anything and everything that comes. I am ever ready to believe the best of others. My hopes are fadeless under all circumstances. I endure everything [without weakening] because Your love in me never fails.
Father, I bless and pray for those who persecute me [who are cruel in their attitude toward me]. I bless them and do not curse them. Therefore, my love abounds yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment. I approve things that are excellent. I am sincere and without offense till the day of Christ. I am filled with the fruits of righteousness.
Everywhere I go I commit to plant seeds of love. I thank You, Father, for preparing hearts ahead of time to receive this love. I know that these seeds will produce Your love in the hearts to whom they are given.
Father, I thank You that as I flow in Your love and wisdom, people are being blessed by my life and ministry. Father, You make me to find favor, compassion, and loving-kindness with others (name them).
I am rooted deep in love and founded securely on love, knowing that You are on my side and that nothing can separate me from Your love, Father, which is in Christ Jesus my Lord. Thank You, Father, in Jesus’ precious name, amen.

To Be God-Inside Minded I am a spirit learning to live in a natural world. I have a soul, and I live in a physical body. I am in the world, but I am not of the world. God of peace, I ask You to sanctify me in every way, and may my whole spirit and soul and body be kept blameless until that day when our Lord Jesus Christ comes again. Father, You called me, and You are completely dependable. You said it, and You will do this. Thank You for the Spirit Who guides me into all truth through my regenerated human spirit.
Lord, Your searchlight penetrates my human spirit, exposing every hidden motive. You actually gave me Your Spirit (not the world’s spirit) so I can know the wonderful things You have given us. I am a child of God, born of the Spirit of God, filled with the Spirit of God, and led by the Spirit of God. I listen to my heart as I look to the Spirit inside me.
Thank You, Holy Spirit, for directing me and illuminating my mind. You lead me in the way I should go in all the affairs of life. You lead me by an inward witness. The eyes of my understanding are being enlightened. Wisdom is in my inward parts. God’s love is perfected in me. I have an unction from the Holy One.
Father, I am becoming spirit-conscious. I listen to the voice of my spirit and obey what my spirit tells me. My spirit is controlled by the Holy Spirit and dominates me, for I walk not after the flesh, but after the spirit. I examine my leading in the light of the Word.
I trust in You, Lord, with all of my heart and lean not to my own understanding. In all of my ways I acknowledge You, and You direct my paths. I walk in the light of the Word. Holy Spirit, You are my Counselor, teaching me to educate, train, and develop my human spirit. The Word of God shall not depart out of my mouth. I meditate therein day and night. Therefore, I shall make my way prosperous, and I will have good success in life. I am a doer of the Word and put Your Word first.

To Walk in Forgiveness Father, in the name of Jesus, I make a fresh commitment to You to live in peace and harmony, not only with the other brothers and sisters of the Body of Christ, but also with my friends, associates, neighbors, and family.
Father, I repent of holding on to bad feelings toward others. I bind myself to godly repentance and loose myself from bitterness, resentment, envying, strife, and unkindness in any form. Father, I ask Your forgiveness for the sin of ____________. By faith, I receive it, having assurance that I am cleansed from all unrighteousness through Jesus Christ. I ask You to forgive and release all who have wronged and hurt me. I forgive and release them. Deal with them in Your mercy and loving-kindness.
From this moment on, I purpose to walk in love, to seek peace, to live in agreement, and to conduct myself toward others in a manner that is pleasing to You. I know that I have right standing with You, and Your ears are attentive to my prayers.
It is written in Your Word that Your love has been poured forth into my heart by the Holy Ghost Who is given to me. I believe that love flows forth into the lives of everyone I know, that we may be filled with and abound in the fruits of righteousness, which bring glory and honor unto You, Lord, in Jesus’ name. So be it! Amen.

To Walk in Sanctification Father, thank You for sanctifying me by the truth; Your Word is truth. Jesus, You consecrated Yourself for my sake, so I’ll be truth-consecrated in my mission. In the name of Jesus, I repent and turn from my wicked ways. I wash myself, make myself clean. I cease to do evil, and I am learning to do right.
Father, You dwell in me and walk with me. So, I leave the corruption and compromise; I leave it for good. You are my Father, and I will not link up with those who would pollute me, because You want me all for Yourself. I purify myself from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence for God.
Father, I confess my sins. You are faithful and just to forgive me my sins and to cleanse me from all unrighteousness. Jesus has been made unto me wisdom, righteousness, sanctification, and redemption. I submit myself to You, Lord — spirit, soul, and body. I strip myself of my old, unrenewed self and put on the new nature, changing whatever needs to be changed in my life. The desire of my heart is to be a vessel unto honor, sanctified, fitting for the Master’s use, and prepared for every good work. Thank you, Lord, that I eat the good of the land, because You have given me a willing and obedient heart. Amen.

Jesus at Home in My Work

Controlling Conversation by Wisdom Father, I desire that my conversation and my behavior be controlled by the wisdom that comes from heaven, which is first of all pure. I believe in goodness, and I value Your approval; therefore, I fix my mind on whatever is true and honorable and just and pure and lovely and admirable. I model my conduct on what I have learned from the Scriptures, and the God of peace is with me. I purify my soul in obeying the truth through the Spirit in sincere love for my fellow workers, whom I love fervently with a pure heart. It is my prayer that I will overflow more and more with love for others, while at the same time growing in spiritual knowledge and insight, for I want always to see clearly the difference between right and wrong and to be inwardly clean. May I always be doing those good, kind things that show I am a child of God, for this will bring much praise and glory to You. Father, I submit to Your Word, which is living and active. Sharper than any two-edged sword; it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of my heart. Surely You desire truth in the inner parts; You teach me wisdom in the inmost place. Cleanse me with hyssop, and I will be clean; wash me, and I will be whiter than snow.
In Jesus’ name I pray, amen.

To Display Integrity Father, when You test my heart, may You be pleased with my honesty. In everything I do, may I set an example by doing what is good.
In my place of business may I show integrity, seriousness and soundness of speech that cannot be condemned, so that those who oppose me may be ashamed because they have nothing bad to say about me. I purpose to manage, as David did, with integrity of heart; with skillful hands he led the people.
Father, I thank You that the integrity of the upright guides me. May I be blameless in Your sight so that I will receive a good inheritance. Let it be said of me by all men, “We know you are a person of integrity and that you teach the way of God in accordance with the truth.”
Judge me, O Lord, according to my righteousness, according to my integrity, O Most High, and make me secure and guard me in Your righteousness. In my integrity You uphold me and set me in Your presence forever. In Jesus’ name I pray, amen.

To Be Well Balanced Father, in the name of Jesus, I come boldly to Your throne of grace to receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
Forgive me for getting caught up in my own pride. Sometimes I behave as though I am indispensable at home, at the office, at church and in other situations. I become irritable and fatigued, feeling that no one appreciates all that I do. Help me to step back and take a personal inventory. My spirit is Your candle, searching out all the inward parts of my being.
Jesus said, Come to me, all of you who are weary and over-burdened, and I will give you rest! Put on my yoke and learn from me. For I am gentle and humble in heart and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light (Matt. 11:28-30 PHILLIPS).
Lord, not only am I yoked up with You, but also with my spouse, my colleagues and others whom You have sent into my life. I am not alone, and I cannot carry this alone. Help me to resist the temptation to be yoked together with unbelievers for the sake of financial profit.
There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven. Help me to keep my priorities in order. Help me to fulfill my call and responsibilities at home as a husband/wife and/or parent. While I am at work, help me to stay focused. Also, help me to take time to find rest—relief, ease and refreshment and recreation and blessed quiet—for my soul.
I cast the whole of my care [all my anxieties, all my worries, all my concerns, once and for all] on You, for You care for me affectionately and care about me watchfully. I affirm that I am well-balanced (temperate, sober of mind), vigilant and cautious at all times; forI know that the enemy roams around like a lion roaring [in fierce hunger], seeking someone to seize upon and devour. In the name of Jesus, I withstand him; firm in faith [against his onset—rooted, established, strong, immovable and determined]. And after I have suffered a little while, You, the God of all grace [Who imparts all blessing and favor], Who has called me to His [own] eternal glory in Christ Jesus, will Yourself complete and make me what I ought to be, establish and ground me securely, and strengthen and settle me.
To You be the dominion (power, authority, rule) for ever and ever, amen and so be it.

Prayer of Daily Dedication to Service Father, I thank You and praise You for this day. I dedicate myself, afresh and anew, to You and to Your service. I commit to live and operate today according to Your Word and the principles and precepts that You have established in it.
I place myself in Your hands. I submit my will to Your will. In Your Word You have promised that You will give me wisdom in the affairs of life. I receive Your wisdom in every decision I make. Help me to consider both sides of every issue, to see all the facts involved in every situation and to think clearly and accurately.
When I encounter situations or become involved in circumstances beyond my knowledge or experience, I will yield to the Holy Spirit, Whom You have sent to reveal to me all things. I will ask Him to minister to me, to lead me, guide me and direct me in the truth concerning every matter that I have to deal with today.
I choose by an act of my will to be the very best employee that I can be this day, to give my employer 100 percent of my time, my effort and my loyalty.
Father, according to Your Word, everything that I set my hand to shall prosper. I thank You, Lord, that my work shall prosper today. Show me mistakes before they occur and reveal to me how to be more effective and efficient in my work. Help me to bring glory and honor to You in every action I take, every deed I perform and every word I speak.
Thank You that my mind is active and alert. I put out of my thoughts all my personal concerns, and I focus totally on the work before me, giving full attention to the duties and responsibilities that have been assigned me this day.
I thank You that my enthusiasm for my job will be evident to all concerned, and that the excellent way I perform my duties will be a witness to everyone who comes in contact with me.
I choose to be patient and kind to all those who work with me. Thank You that the faithful shall abound in blessings. No matter what the situation, regardless of the circumstances, I will respond in love and in truth. I will not seek my own way or try to promote myself, but I will be secure in the knowledge that if I am faithful and diligent to do my job to the best of my ability, then recognition and promotion will come—from You. I refuse to lift up myself, to try to force myself into a position of prominence so that others will notice me. I simply commit myself to do whatever I have been assigned to do with all my strength and might and heart and soul.
Thank You that my honest efforts and godly attitude will become obvious to my superiors so that pay increases and promotions will follow as a matter of course. Help me always to be on the lookout for ways to increase my contribution to the success of my department and the company as a whole. In this way, I will find favor with You and with others.
In Jesus’ name I pray, amen.

Prayer for an Increase in Personal Productivity Lord, I ask for Your help in planning my day, paying attention to my duties, staying focused on my assignment, establishing priorities in my work and making steady progress toward my objectives. Give me insight, Father. Help me to see any habits that I may have that might tend to make me nonproductive. Reveal to me ways to better handle the tedious tasks I must perform so that I can achieve the greatest results possible. Help me to organize my efforts, schedule my activities and budget my time.
From books, by Your Spirit, through the people who work with me or by whatever means You choose, Lord, reveal to me that which I need to know and do in order to become a more productive, fruitful worker. My heart’s desire is to give my very best to You and to my employer. When I become frustrated because that is not taking place, help me, Father, by the power of Your Spirit to do whatever is necessary to correct that situation so that I can once again function with accuracy and proficiency. Thank You, Lord, for bringing all these things to pass in my life.
In Jesus’ name I pray, amen.

Jesus at Home in My House

Father, I come in the name of Jesus to plead His blood on my life and on all that belongs to me, and overall which You have made me steward. I plead the blood of Jesus on the portals of my mind, my body (the temple of the Holy Spirit), my emotions, and my will. I believe that I am protected by the blood of the Lamb which gives me access to the Holy of Holies. I plead the blood on my spouse, children, grandchildren and their children, and on all those whom You have given me in this life to love and pray for. Lord, You have said that the life of the flesh is in the blood. Thank You for this blood that has cleansed my entire family from sin and sealed the New Covenant of which we are partakers. As each one of us lies down to sleep tonight, I plead the blood of Jesus upon (name your family members) and me. I thank You, Holy Spirit for sealing all these prayers and I ask You to use them to bring glory to Your name and Person. May Your every plan, purpose, and destiny be realized in the lives of all my family members, in the name of Jesus, amen.

Submitting All to God Father, You are the Supreme Authority — a God of order. You have instituted other authority structures that will support healthy relationships and maintain harmony. It is my decision to surrender my will to You, that I might find protection and dwell in the secret place of the Most High. Father, thank You for pastors and leaders of the church — those who are submitted to You and are examples to the congregation. I submit to our Pastors and Elders giving them due respect and yielding to their counsel. Lord, only You know how I have been rebellious in my life. I ask Your forgiveness for ever manipulating circumstances or people or if I ever attempted to manipulate You to get my own way. May Your will be done in my life, even as it is in heaven.
Father, when I feel that my life is spiraling out of control, I bind my mind to the mind of Christ, and my emotions to the control of the Holy Spirit. I loose my mind from any obsessive thought patterns that try to confuse me. Obedience is far better than sacrifice. Father, You are much more interested in my listening to You than in my offerings of material things to You. Rebellion is as bad as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as bad as worshiping idols. Forgive me for worshiping idols in any way, shape or form. I disconnect myself from the world during this fast and completely focus on You and Your Word to and for me.
Father, You deserve honesty from the heart; yes, utter sincerity and truthfulness. Oh, give me this wisdom. Sprinkle me with the cleansing blood, and I shall be clean again. Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. You have rescued me from the dominion of darkness and brought me into the Kingdom of the Son You love, in Whom I have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.
Lord, I want to follow You. I am putting aside my own desires and conveniences. I yield my desires that are not in Your plan for me. Even in the midst of my fear, I surrender and entrust my future to You. I choose to take up my cross and follow You [cleave steadfastly to You, conforming wholly to Your example in living and, if need be, in dying also]. I desire to lose my [lower life] on Your account that I might find it [the higher life]. Father, You gave Jesus to be my Example. He has returned to You, Father, and has sent the Holy Spirit to be my Helper and Guide. In this world there are temptations, trials, and tribulations; but Jesus has overcome the world, and I am of good cheer. Jesus is my Lord. I choose to become His servant. He calls me His friend.
Lord, help me to walk through the process of surrendering my all to You. I exchange rebellion and stubbornness for a willing and obedient heart. When I refuse to listen, anoint my ears to hear; when I am blinded by my own desires, open my eyes to see. I belong to Jesus Christ, the Anointed One, Who breaks down and destroys every yoke of bondage. In His name and in obedience to Your will, Father, I submit to the control and direction of the Holy Spirit Whom You have sent to live in me. I am Your child. All to You I surrender. I am an overcomer by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of my testimony!

Developing Patience Father, I come before You in the name of Jesus. I desire to meditate, consider, and inquire in Your presence. I am asking for Your help in developing patience, quietly entrusting my future and my family to Your will. It is to You that I submit all of my desires for my home, family and relationships. By Your grace I surrender my life — all my desires, all that I am, and all that I am not — to the control of the Holy Spirit Who produces this kind of fruit in me: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control; and here there is no conflict. I belong to Jesus Christ, and I seek to live by the Holy Spirit’s power and to follow the Holy Spirit’s leading in every part of my life. [In exercising] self-control I [develop] steadfastness (patience, endurance), and in [exercising] steadfastness I [develop] godliness (piety).
By faith, I consider it wholly joyful whenever I am enveloped in, or encounter, trials of any sort or fall into various temptations. It is then that I am reminded to rest assured and understand that the trial and proving of my faith brings out endurance and steadfastness and patience. I purpose to let endurance and steadfastness and patience have full play and do a thorough work, so that I may be perfectly and fully developed [with no defects], lacking in nothing. Father, fill me with the knowledge of Your will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding, that I may live a life worthy of You and may please You in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of You, being strengthened with all power according to Your glorious might, so that I may have great endurance and patience, and joyfully give thanks to You Who qualified me to share in the inheritance of the saints in the Kingdom of light. Father, I strip off and throw aside every encumbrance (unnecessary weight) and that sin which so readily (deftly and cleverly) clings to and entangles me, and I run with patient endurance and steady and active persistence the appointed course of the race that is set before me. I look away [from all that will distract] to Jesus, Who is the Leader and the Source of my faith [giving the first incentive for my belief] and is also its Finisher [bringing it to maturity and perfection]. With patience I am able to persevere through the difficult times — times of anxiety and worry — and overcome the fear that I may never be married. I am an overcomer by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of my testimony.
In Jesus’ name, amen.

Harmonious Marriage Father, in the name of Jesus, it is written in Your Word that love is shed abroad in my heart and _____’s by the Holy Ghost Who is given to us. Because You are in us, we acknowledge that love reigns supreme. We believe that love is displayed in full expression, enfolding and knitting us together in truth, making us perfect for every good work to do Your will, working in us that which is pleasing in Your sight. _____ and I live and conduct ourselves and our marriage honorably and becomingly. We esteem it as precious, worthy, and of great price. We commit ourselves to live in mutual harmony and accord with one another, delighting in each other, being of the same mind and united in spirit. Father, we believe in agreement that we are gentle, compassionate, courteous, tenderhearted, and humble-minded. We seek peace, and it keeps our hearts in quietness and assurance. Because we follow after love and dwell in peace, our prayers are not hindered in any way, in the name of Jesus. We are heirs together of the grace of God.
Our marriage grows stronger day by day in the bond of unity because it is founded on Your Word and rooted and grounded in Your love. Father, we thank You for the performance of it, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

The Home Father, I thank You that You have blessed me with all spiritual blessings in Christ Jesus. Through skillful and godly wisdom is my house (my life, my home, my family) built, and by understanding it is established on a sound and good foundation. And by knowledge shall the chambers (of its every area) be filled with all precious and pleasant riches — great priceless treasure. The house of the uncompromisingly righteous shall stand. Prosperity and welfare are in my house in the name of Jesus. My house is securely built. It is founded on a rock — revelation knowledge of Your Word, Father. Jesus is my Cornerstone. Jesus is Lord of my household. Jesus is our Lord — spirit, soul and body. Whatever may be our task, we work at it heartily as something done for You, Lord, and not for men. We love each other with the God kind of love, and we dwell in peace. My home is deposited into Your charge, entrusted to Your protection and care. Father, as for me and my house we shall serve the Lord in Jesus’ name. Hallelujah! Amen.

Peace in the Family Father, in the name of Jesus, I thank You that You have poured Your Spirit upon our family from on high. Our wilderness has become a fruitful field, and we value our fruitful field as a forest. Justice dwells in our wilderness, and righteousness [religious and moral rectitude in every area and relation] abides in our fruitful field. The effect of righteousness is peace [internal and external], and the result of righteousness, quietness and confident trust forever. Our family dwells in a peaceable habitation, in safe dwellings and in quiet resting places. And there is stability in our times, abundance of salvation, wisdom and knowledge. There, reverent fear and worship of the Lord is our treasure and Yours. O Lord be gracious to us; we have waited [expectantly] for You. Be the Arm of Your servants – our Strength and Defense every morning, our Salvation in the time of trouble. Father, we thank You for our peace, our safety and our welfare this day. Hallelujah! Amen.

Improving Communication Skills Father, I am Your child. Jesus said that if I pray to You in secret, You will reward me openly. Father, I desire with all my heart to walk in love, but I sometimes sabotage my own efforts and fail in my relationships. I know that without faith it is impossible to please and be satisfactory to You. I am coming near to You, believing that You exist and that You are the Rewarder of those who earnestly and diligently seek You. Show “me” to me. Uncover me — bring everything to the light. When anything is exposed and reproved by the light, it is made visible and clear; and where everything is visible and clear there is light. Heal the past wounds and hurts that have controlled my behavior and my speech. Teach me to guard my heart with all diligence, for out of it flow the very issues of life. Teach me to speak the truth in love in my home, in my church, with my friends, and in all my relationships. Also, help me to realize that others have a right to express themselves. Help me to make room for their ideas and opinions, even when they are different than mine. Words are powerful. The power of life and death is in the tongue, and You said that I would eat the fruit of it. Father, I realize that words can be creative or destructive. A word out of my mouth may seem of no account, but it can accomplish nearly anything or destroy it! By my speech I can bring damage or hurt relationships and turn harmony into chaos. Before You, Father God, I say that I don’t want my words to have that kind of power. Father, forgive me for ever speaking curses or reacting out of past hurts and unresolved anger. Help me not to be boastful with my words or use them to make me feel better than or superior to another. Father, forgive me. I cannot change myself, but I am willing to change and walk in the wisdom that is from above. Father, I submit to Your wisdom that begins with a holy life and is characterized by getting along with others. It is gentle and reasonable, overflowing with mercy and blessings, not hot one day and cold the next, not two-faced. Use me as Your instrument to develop a healthy, robust community that lives right with You. I will enjoy its results only if I do the hard work of getting along with others, treating them with dignity and honor. With Your help Holy Spirit and by Your grace, I will not let any unwholesome talk come out of my mouth, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. My heart overflows with a goodly theme; I address my psalm to You, the King. My tongue is like the pen of a ready writer. Mercy and kindness shut out all hatred and selfishness, and truth shuts out all deliberate hypocrisy or falsehood; and I bind them about my neck, writing them upon the tablet of my heart.
Help me, Lord, to speak excellent and princely things; that the opening of my lips shall be for right things. My mouth shall utter truth, and wrongdoing will be detestable and loathsome to my lips. All the words of my mouth will be righteous (upright and in right standing with You, Lord;) there is nothing contrary to truth or crooked in them. My tongue is as choice silver, and my lips feed and guide many. I open my mouth in skillful and godly wisdom, and on my tongue is the law of kindness [giving counsel and instruction]. Father, thank You for loving me unconditionally. I thank You for sending Your Son, Jesus, to be my Friend and for giving me Your Holy Spirit to teach me and to bring all things to my remembrance. I am an overcomer by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of my testimony. In the name of Jesus I pray, amen.

Prayer for Finances Thank You, Father, for giving me prosperity in every area of my life. I commit to listening to Your voice and digging into Your Word. No matter what it looks like right now, I believe I have more than enough, in Jesus’ name. Father, I thank You that I am an heir to Your blessings. I choose life today – I choose to be a conduit for what You want to do in this world. Thank You for Your Word and the many blessings that are mine. Father, according to Your Word, I stand in unshakable faith, ready to receive from You. I am a tither and a giver. I thank You for providing exceeding abundantly above all that I could ask or think, for I know and believe that You meet all my needs according to Your riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Thank You for multiplying my seed sown, so that I may give into every good work, wherever You direct me Father, and I thank You that I am enriched in everything toward bountifulness and away from poverty, which causes me to offer thanksgiving to You, God. I pray that You would help me to choose to have the mind of Christ about money and what You want me to use it for. I stand on Mark 4:23 which says, ‘If any man has ears to hear, let him hear,’ so I make the decision right now to receive financial wisdom from Your Word and Spirit. I will prioritize by giving first, so there may be enough to water and plant. Help me, Lord, to have the right perspective about my work and money as I put the sickle to the harvest, and my hand to the plow. In Jesus’ Name, I receive now by faith the hundredfold return on all seed that I sow into the work of the Kingdom. I do this in obedience to the Word. The enemy cannot take my money and I won’t give it to him either. Through the Word, I will grow in faith about my finances and dedicate all that I have to You, Lord. Thank You for desiring abundance for me, that I may be in financial, emotional, mental, physical, relational, vocational, and spiritual health all the days of my life.  I dedicate my current and future finances to Your service and Your affairs Father God, in Jesus’ name. Thank You, Father, for multiplying my ‘loaves and fishes’ as I honor You with my giving and choose wisdom over feelings with regards to money and work. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Kingdom-Honoring Relationships Father, I come before You in prayer and in faith. Your Word says that now is the time for all to awaken from sleep, for our salvation is nearer now than we first believed. Lord, please deliver my loved ones (_________ and me,) from the power of darkness, and cause them/us to put on the armor of light. Help them/us in their daily walk to put on the Lord Jesus Christ and to avoid the lusts and idolatry of life. Cause us/them to turn their/our eyes away from worthless things, to come to their/our senses, and escape the snare of the enemy that has held them/us captive in any way, shape or form. Deliver them/us from immorality, strife, and envy, and draw them/us near to You, Father, with a true heart. Create in them/us a hunger and thirst for You and Your righteousness and revive them/us in Your ways. I ask that You fill them/us with the knowledge of Your will for their/our relationship in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; that they/we might have a walk (and relationship) worthy of You, Lord, fully pleasing You, being fruitful in every good work, increasing in the knowledge of You and strengthened with all might, according to Your glorious power. Bring them/us into the calling that You have predestined for them/us; help them/us to serve You with loyal hearts and willing minds and instruct them/us in the way they should go. Help them/us to esteem one other as better than them/ourselves, be doers of the Word, not hearers only, and be devoted to the Word day and night. Establish their/our hearts, so they/we will never be shaken, and show them/us a way of escape with every temptation. Help them/us owe no man anything except the God-kind of love – a love that is in deed and truth, not just in word and speech. Help them/us be volunteers serving You in the time of Your power, seeking first Your kingdom so that they/we will reap abundant blessings. I pray that they/we will honor You with their/our possessions and with the first fruits of their/our increase; praising You, Lord, with their/our whole hearts in the assembly of the upright and in the congregation of the righteous; walking humbly with You Lord, being determined to act justly, love mercy, choose righteousness, and be gracious and full of compassion. May they/we seek first to honor you and then one another, in all of their/our words, thoughts and deeds toward each other. Be Lord of their/our relationship, in Jesus’ name, amen.

Children at School Father, in Jesus’ name, I confess Your Word this day concerning my children as they pursue their education and training at school. I pray that (name them) will find favor, good understanding and high esteem in the sight of God and their teachers and classmates. Father, thank You for giving my children an appreciation for education and helping them to understand that the Source and beginning of all knowledge is You. They have the appetite of the diligent, and they are abundantly supplied with educational resources; and their thoughts are those of the steadily diligent, which tend only to achievement. Thank You that they are growing in wisdom and knowledge. I will not cease to pray for them, asking that they be filled with the knowledge of Your will, bearing fruit in every good work. Father, I thank You that my children have divine protection since they dwell in the secret place of the Most High. My children trust and find their refuge in You and stand rooted and grounded in Your love. They shall not be led astray by philosophies of men and teaching that is contrary to truth. My children are established in Your love, which drives all fear out of doors. I pray that the teachers of my children will be godly men and women of integrity. Adult Children Father, in the name of Jesus, we come before the Throne of Grace bringing our adult children who have rebelled against you. First, we ask you to forgive us for the times we have prayed for our children with selfish motives and hindered your answers to prayer. Forgive us for our self-righteous attitude. It wasn’t too long ago that we were mired in that old stagnant life of sin, but you embraced us with immense mercy and with your incredible love. Dear Lord, remember your covenant with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. According to your covenant your Spirit is upon us, and your words which you have put in our mouth, shall not depart from our mouth, nor the mouth of our descendants nor from the mouth of our descendants’ descendants from this time forth and forevermore. We put on your full armor and having done all to stand, we stand on behalf of our families. Fearlessly we enforce the triumphant victory of our Lord Jesus Christ against Satan and his strategies for destruction. We commit to build up the wall and stand in the gap before you asking that your mercy triumphant over judgment. Lord you are great and awesome; we fight for our brethren, our sons, our daughters, their spouses and our houses. On the authority of your promise we declare that you will contend with him who contends with us, and you will give safety to our children, save them and ease them day by day. You are our LORD, our Savior, our Redeemer, and the Mighty One of Jacob. We proclaim that our children are a heritage and a reward from you. We ask you, Father, draw them to repentance with your goodness, and give them as an inheritance to the Lord Jesus Christ. He shed his blood for them that they might be saved, and your arm is not shortened that you cannot save. Holy Spirit, we ask you to convince and convict them of sin, righteousness and judgment. May our sons and daughters repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and they will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. According to your promise we are asking you to pour your Spirit and your blessings on our adult children (name them.) Our sons and daughters shall prophecy; our young men shall see visions. Lord, you chose our children before the foundation of the world and called them in their youth. Our children are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, and a holy nation. They are your own special people. Father confirm your word and hallow your name in the lives of (name them) for your glory and honor. Amen

I submit all these prayers to the sealing of the Holy Spirit, that He is the “Yes and amen” to The Word I have prayed today. In Jesus mighty name, all glory to the Father, all glory to the Son, all glory to the Holy Spirit, amen.

For Healing
Father God, Your Word says that Your people are destroyed for lack of knowledge, but I know what the Word says about me and my healing. So, I decree and declare that Christ has redeemed my spirit, soul, and body from the curse of the law, having become a curse for me. I thank You, Jesus, for bearing my sins in Your own body on the cross, that I, having died to sin by Your sacrifice, might live for righteousness, for by Your stripes I am healed. You were wounded for my transgressions and bruised for my iniquities; the chastisement for my peace was upon You, and by Your wounds I am whole. You took my infirmities and bore my sicknesses. With gratitude, I ask You to send Your Word now to heal me in every way I need it. Thank You, God, for delivering me from my own destructions, and I commit to not be wise in my own eyes (by abusing my body or neglecting those habits that keep me healthy;) but I choose to reverently fear the Lord and depart from evil, not taking for granted the healthy body You desire that I live in. [Because Your Word brings life] I will spend time in it like some take prescription medicine, for it will be health to my flesh, and strength to my bones. In It You said to me, “I am the Lord who heals you, Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases.” I choose this day Whom I will serve with my heart, mind, and body: I will serve the Lord my God, and He will bless my bread and water; He will take sickness away from my midst and His Word will bring health to my bones. My light will break forth like the morning, my healing shall spring forth speedily, and my righteousness shall go before me; the glory of the Lord shall be my rear guard, and I shall not die, but live, and declare the glorious works of the Lord. Thank You, Father, for healing the brokenhearted and binding up their wounds. Today I choose joy (Proverbs 17:22 NASB;) for You, Father, desire that Your beloved children prosper in all things and be in health, just as our souls prosper. I go my way in health and wholeness and praise You, God, for all You’ve done to give me life and that in abundance. In Jesus’ name, amen.  (By using 2nd person pronouns, you can pray this for someone else.)
